Clinical Supervision
Providing Ethical and Meaningful Support to Your Therapeutic Work
Clinical Supervisors
Rena Dosanjh, MSc., RP, RMFT-SQ

Clinical supervision is an important resource to consider when offering ethical and meaningful therapeutic support to clients.
Clinical supervision can be beneficial to access when you are a student in a graduate program, new to the field of therapy, or when you feel uncertain about how best to support a client or to be more aligned with your preferred therapist self.
I am a CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) and RMFT (Registered Marriage and Family Therapist) (Qualifying) approved supervisor who currently provides clinical supervision to masters-level students, Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) and Registered Psychotherapists in their work with individuals, couples and families. I have over 7 years of experience providing the act of psychotherapy in university, agency and private practice settings.
Just as we often encourage clients to consider the importance of finding a right fit, I view supervision as being most beneficial when supervisor and supervisee are able to establish a strong connection.

Christina Kocharakkal, MSc., RP., RMFT-SQ

Hi! I am Christina Kocharakkal and I am happy to share some of the qualifications that allow me to be a supervisor: I have over 7 years of providing Psychotherapy services in university, agency and private practice settings. I have been a RP (registered psychotherapist) for 5 years now and hold the independent practice standing. I am also a RMFT (registered marriage and family therapist) for over 3 years now. I am an approved supervisor with the CRPO and CAMFT (qualifying) and have completed the Fundamentals of Supervision Course & seek the support of a supervisor mentor as required by CAMFT.
I take pride in the work I have been honoured to do over the years and I have deeply depended on the learning and growth, clinical supervision offers to me as a clinician. I know first hand the impact of a great supervisor and of the fruitful conversations that come from supervision.
What can I do for you specifically as your supervisor? I believe supervision is vital, to provide the clients we are privileged to work with, the most ethical, impactful, and beneficial service. I aim to meet you at the skill level of clinical work you are at and desire to work collaboratively with you to explore ways in which you can feel more comfortable, confident, and competent in your work with clients. I hope to create a safe space with you in efforts to have meaningful self-of-therapist conversations, explore the strengths you hold, support you in areas you feel stuck and ultimately, move towards your best hopes in seeking out supervision support at this time in your journey.
If this sounds like the kind of support you are seeking, please feel free to get in touch and we can set up a free consultation call to determine if we would be a good fit for each other.
