Hello and welcome! I commend you for taking this brave step toward exploring yourself and embarking on a journey of personal growth. My name is Harpreet and I am a Registered Social Worker with a background in Child and Youth Care. Who I am as a person, mirrors who I am as a therapist—I bring the same warmth, curiosity, and genuine care into each session, creating a space that feels both supportive and authentic.

I believe in the power of resilience and the ability of every individual to create meaningful change in their lives. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, understanding and a commitment to fostering a safe space for healing and growth. I strive to create a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences and meeting you where you are at in your journey. With extensive experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, I have supported individuals and families navigate challenges such as domestic violence, mental health issues and life transitions.

As a therapist, I aim to meet you where you are, whether we’re addressing specific challenges or simply creating a space for you to feel heard. In our sessions, there’s no pressure to dive into everything all at once. I believe in allowing the time and space needed to explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable. My approach is collaborative—I see you as the expert on your own life and am here to support you in building on the strategies you’ve already found helpful or adapting those strategies to align with your current needs and goals. This way, each step we take is meaningful and supportive, guiding you toward the personal growth you seek.

Particular Areas of Focus:

Relationship/Intimate Partner and/or Familial Challenges, Boundaries, Trauma, Life Transitions, Adolescent Challenges, Self-Esteem, Anxiety

Outside of my professional work, I’m someone who believes that life is most fulfilling when we’re constantly growing, exploring, and connecting with others. I’m a social butterfly at heart, and I’m always seeking out new experiences, whether it’s learning Spanish on Duolingo, hitting the volleyball court, or diving into true crime, thriller, and horror genres that intrigue me with their explorations of human behavior.

Growing up in a Punjabi household and community, I’ve developed a deep respect for the richness of cultural traditions and the strength of support systems, which continue to shape who I am today. I love to spend time with friends and family—it’s where I feel energized and keeps me grounded and fulfilled.
