Hi there and welcome! My name is Jasmine, I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I view myself as a friendly, and down to earth individual who loves to meet and get to know new people. I obtained by Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in child and family studies as well as my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. In between those degrees I also completed a certificate in concurrent disorders. When I have some time off work, I love to travel and try new foods from around the world. One of my favourite destinations so far is Barcelona, Spain! During my free time between work, I love to read, paint, exercise, and spend time with my loved ones.

About me as an Individual Therapist…

I acknowledge the courage it takes to reach out for support and my goal in individual therapy is to provide you with a safe, comfortable, judgment free, and anti-oppressive space. I aim to create a strong and trusting relationship with you, so you feel listened to and seen. I value working from a trauma informed and person-centered approach which allows you as the client be the expert in your life and experiences. Paired with my knowledge and experience in mental health, we can collaboratively create goals and work towards positive change based on your values, identity, or whatever your needs are in that moment.

About me as a Couple Therapist + Family Therapist…

Within couples and family therapy, I recognize there are a limitless number of reasons for you to be seeking support. Every relationship and situation is unique and made up of differing identities, values, and experiences that shape how we show up with one another. I hope to collaboratively work with you in exploring and identifying where values can align and what those relational goals are. I aim to provide a safe and calm environment where difficult and vulnerable conversations can be had to foster productive communication and where conflict can be appropriately resolved.
