Relationship Challenges, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Worth, Loneliness

Hello, my name is Kalyna. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I am devoted to supporting individuals at any stage in life to overcome challenges through evidence-based and client-centred frameworks.

I value the opportunity to work with individuals and support them in a personalized way. I view individuals as the experts in their own lives and look forward to hearing your stories and experiences so we can work together to reach your goals.  Everyone’s unique identities (values, beliefs, roles, responsibilities, etc.) are important. I look to create a relationship that fosters sustainable and meaningful change in a way that prioritizes these aspects of identity.

My approach to counselling is based on creating strong therapeutic relationships that empower individuals toward growth, healing, and emotional well-being. I strive to create safe and supportive spaces through non-judgmental and anti-oppressive frameworks to unpack whatever is on your mind.

More About Me:

Hello, my name is Kalyna. Welcome to my profile!

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a  Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Child Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, minoring in Psychology and Indigenous Studies. I grew up in Mississauga but have been able to work and volunteer all over the GTA.

Throughout my work experience with children, I began to see the value of collaborative care; often, I was working with families and other resource supports to help the child succeed in the classroom. Being able to see how individualized and collaborative care can make such an impact is something I take with me into the therapeutic space.

Besides my passion for helping others, I enjoy going on hikes and working out at the gym. In addition, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I have two brothers with whom I am very close and always find myself going on adventures with them. My other hobbies include painting, reading, watching documentaries, and being in the garden.
