Hello and welcome! My name is Keeshia and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Above all, I am a mother to a wonderful boy who reminds me every day of the importance of mindfulness and gratitude. We love to spend time in nature, go for walks and bike rides, find new books and activities, and watch our favourite Disney movies.

I am also a plant mom! I am spiritual and believe in the energetic connection between everything in our universe, from the plants and the animals, to us humans, to the stars in the sky.

I believe our journeys have a deep spiritual meaning and we are here to learn, grow, and evolve. I value kindness, authenticity, empathy, and vulnerability. I start every morning with a cup of tea, three things I am grateful for, and positive affirmations. I believe our minds are truly powerful and we can overcome any obstacle thrown our way; perspective is everything!

About me as an Individual Therapist…

Hello and welcome! My name is a Keeshia and I am glad you’re here. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with individuals of varying ages. I love getting to know your story and how you came to be in your current reality. I hope to explore your past and present, and together we can identify what goals you would like to reach.

I believe there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy, so by getting to know you, we will find the ways in which you are best supported. I know that opening up and being vulnerable can be anxiety-inducing, so I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space so you feel comfortable sharing your journey with me. We will always go at your pace; after all, you are the expert!

I also believe it is a sign of true strength to take a step towards reflecting inwards, so self-compassion is something I always encourage. I believe in the power of mindfulness and will notice your indirect ways of communicating with me as well (i.e., your body language) and together we will identify what’s coming up for you.

We will make connections between experiences, relationships, roles, habits, thoughts, patterns, and behaviours, and identify how you envision your future self. My hope is for you to leave our sessions feeling encouraged, validated, hopeful, and empowered. I would be grateful to be a part of your journey and hope we can connect soon!
