There often comes a moment when something no longer feels okay, and it’s hard to know where to begin. Through collaboration, my hope is to create a space to explore change that is rooted in curiosity, warmth, and safety.

As a therapist Intern, I integrate Narrative, Collaborative-Dialogic, and Solution-Focused approaches to work together in order to find meaningful connection with your most authentic self. Through this human-to-human interaction, I strive to support individuals, couples, and families by providing a space where they can move away from feeling misunderstood or lost and toward connection. I have a passion for continuous growth through clinical supervision, self-reflection and being a learner for life.

My approach is to walk alongside clients while learning about the unique and complex systems that may influence you. I draw from my previous work experience with Indigenous survivors of sexual exploitation, where I was driven to see each individual as more than the experiences that may have shaped them. I was able to witness the possibilities of change and personal discoveries that are co-created through a relationship that is grounded in care.

When life feels unpredictable, it can be hard to find a path. My goal is to support you in moving forward in a way that feels right for you, while remaining open to the unexpected paths that may provide new perspectives and meaningful change.

Particular Areas of Focus:

Relationship Challenges, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Family Relationships, Self-Esteem and Self-Worth

Outside of therapy, I would describe myself as adventurous and deeply curious about the hidden meanings in life. I enjoy learning from different cultures through travelling to other countries and creating new experiences.
I value the deep and meaningful relationships in my life through my friendship’s, family, and shared moments with others, while striving to show up authentically in those connections.

When I am not able to visit my family in Japan, I try to stay connected to my Japanese culture in ways that feel grounding. I am an animal lover that wishes I could invite them all in my home if I had the space. When I am not in therapy I enjoy watching reality TV, but my favourite is anything Bravo
