In session, I strive to create a space where you feel safe and supported in exploring what’s important to you. Everyone accesses therapy with different hopes, and together we can explore what would be most meaningful to you.

I often turn to Attachment Theory, Narrative approaches, Behavioural Therapies (CBT/DBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).

My approach is rooted in cultural sensitivity, consideration and collaboration. I consider you to hold valuable insights and strengths that can be paired with our work to support you in moving towards the version of yourself you’re hoping for. I invite you to connect with me to explore ways to create meaningful change in your life!

Particular Areas of Focus:

Child and Teen Experiences, Sexual Trauma, Body Image/Self-Esteem, Relationship Challenges, Life Transitions, Communication Challenges, South Asian Experiences

Hi! My name is Tavneet Sandhu, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist offering services in English and Punjabi. My passion for mental health began in my early teens, when I found myself struggling and couldn’t find a therapist who looked like me. Since then, I’ve spent time working with children, adults, couples and families.

In addition to being a therapist, I’m a wife, daughter, sister, and friend. When I’m not in sessions, you can find me at a concert, trying a new coffee spot, and keeping up with my hobbies, such as colouring and junk journaling.
