Hi there! I’m Tavneet, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I belong to the South Asian community and offer services in English and Punjabi. I became a therapist after witnessing how mental health was approached in my community. Since then, I’ve aspired to create a space for people to talk about difficult things with someone who has similar lived experiences to them.

Outside of therapy, I’m an avid concert goer, an iced latte enthusiast, a sushi lover, and consistent reader.

A quote I live by is that “when one door closes, another door opens”. It may not make sense right away, but it will in time.

About me as an Individual Therapist…

I hold experience in supporting individuals through relational concerns, mood and personality disorders, trauma, and life transitions.

I view therapy as a collaborative approach where we work together to best support you and the relationships in your life. While in individual therapy, you and I will be present in the room, we’ll create space to explore the relationships and connections outside of the room that influence and impact you. In working with you, I hope to create an environment that is safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic.

In our work together, you will come to find my approach is rooted in cultural sensitivity, consideration, and collaboration. You hold valuable insights and strengths that can be accessed and paired with resources in therapy to support you in moving towards the version of yourself you’re hoping for. I invite you to connect with me to explore ways for us to create meaningful change in your life!

About me as a Couple Therapist and Family Therapist…

I hold experience in supporting couples and families. From professional and personal experience, I know that relationships can develop points of contention across time that produce negative feelings. I’m here to invite you to create meaningful and sustainable change in these relationships by working through these negative feelings.

In our work together in couples and family therapy, we’ll create space to explore each of your values, conflict, and communications styles, lived experiences, and best hopes for the relationship. I hope to support you in creating a shared meaning within your relationship that aligns with your core values and moves you towards where you’d like to be.

You hold invaluable insights and strengths that can be accessed and paired with resources in therapy to support you in moving towards your ideal relationships. I invite you to connect with me to explore ways for us to create meaningful change in your life!
