Hi there! My name is Vanessa, and here is where we break the ice and dive into some fun facts about who I am as a person. In a nutshell, I would describe myself as a warm, cheerful, travel-loving foodie with a sprinkle of wit and humour. To me, happiness looks like sunshine, ocean waves, and feeling connected to others – or anywhere with good vibes and good music! During my free time, you can catch me with an iced coffee in my hand hanging around with my fur-children and loved ones. I’m always seeking new adventures and truly believe in living life to the fullest. Think we might be a good fit? I would love to connect for a free phone consultation and find out!

About me as an Individual Therapist…

Hello and welcome! My name is Vanessa (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is dedicated to supporting clients through a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental framework. Life is full of challenges, but through reflection and practice we can gain insight and direction on how to navigate them and shape the lives we desire. Together, we will work towards your goals by building on existing skills and strengths, while also incorporating new ideas and strategies for solutions. I believe that everyone has a story, and I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for you to feel comfortable sharing yours.

Being reflective in nature, my approach involves collaboratively exploring aspects beneath the surface to help foster a deeper understanding of the Self. While being primarily Person-Centred, I enjoy pulling from diverse therapeutic modalities as it allows me to align my approach with your individual needs, goals, and views of healing.

I recognize that reaching out for support is not always easy, and I want to commend your strength, courage, and commitment to positive change in taking this first step today. Whatever your journey looks like, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
