Services and Fees

Individual Therapy

The rate of individual therapy ranges from
$145-175 + HST per 50 minutes, depending on experience

Psychotherapy interns offer individual sessions at the standard rate of
$90 + HST per 50 minutes.

Couple Therapy

The rate of couple therapy ranges from
$160-175 + HST per 50 minutes, based on experience.

Those who offer reduced rates offer couple sessions at the standard rate of
$115 + HST per 50 minutes.

Family Therapy

The rate of family therapy ranges from
$160-175 + HST per 50 minutes, depending on experience.

Those who offer reduced rates offer family sessions at the standard rate of
$115 + HST per 50 minutes.

Clinical Supervision

The rate of one on one clinical supervision is at the rate of $125 + HST per 60 minutes.

Anxiety

Anxiety is often experienced as a persistent and intense worry about one or several things (ex. public speaking, uncertainty or tensions experienced in important relationships, health, finances, performance etc.). While anxiety can present in a manner that impedes on our preferred way of experiencing ourselves, our relationships and lives, its intention is to protect us from harm/hurt.

Pursuing therapy for experiences with anxiety often is with the aim to reduce the internal alerts of harm so that we can continue to protect ourselves while also not sacrificing quality of life.

 

EFT Therapy

Emotional Focused Therapy also known as EFT therapy was formulated in the 1980s; this form of therapy is cutting edge and tested and proven in couples intervention. Our EFT therapy can be an in-person or virtual therapy session. Our biggest goal when providing in-person therapy and/or virtual therapy is to make you feel safe and heard. When starting your in-person and/or virtual therapy journey we will discuss all aspects of your personal, and professional history to help you overcome any trauma, grief, or anxiety.

Personal Growth

Therapy can be more than symptom response and treatment. We believe therapy can be a helpful resource for anyone, not just those who may be experiencing challenges. People may access therapy with interest in focusing more on their needs and hopes rather than fears and challenges. Personal growth therapy might be an opportunity for individuals to better understand their values, their thought process, and actions.

Personal growth therapy can appear to be vague, but this is because people and their experiences are unique. What growth looks like for one person may be very different than growth of someone else. 

Overall, personal growth therapy can create space for individuals to better understand themselves, inviting them to prioritize time to work towards greater authenticity, health and happiness.

Grief/Loss

Grief can be experienced for several reasons including but not limited to the death of a loved one, shifts or terminations experienced in relationships (ex. break ups, dissolving of familial relationship), as well as professional shifts (termination of employment). People can experience grief and loss in a variety of ways, for different lengths of time. 

Working with a therapist through grief can create space to identify emotions being experienced and the impact of the loss. There can be work done in effort to become closer to acceptance and closure. However, it is important to know that acceptance and closure can be experienced on a continuum,  and there may be days that grief is felt more. 

We will work with you in processing the loss, working through the pain and finding ways to move forward with your life in your preferred way.
